Horizon by America’s Cup is a speculative innovation competition designed as an extension of the America’s Cup brand. Running in parallel with the sailing event, Horizon challenges international student teams to design scalable solutions addressing environmental issues related to air and water. Rooted in the core values of the America’s Cup such as competition, innovation, and pushing limits, the project repositions the AC tag line “man against the elements” as “man for the elements.” From concept and storytelling to visual identity, communication strategy, and real-world deployment scenarios, Horizon imagines how a historic sports brand could evolve into a platform for meaningful environmental impact.
